Talks
The Naqoura talks must be renewed. But in such a way that they have a chance of succeeding. And that chance exists if we act correctly.
The most important component is the identity of the negotiators. Today the talks are being conducted between the wrong intermediaries.
Starting on January 7, Peres and Rabin must be seated together in Naqoura. And each of them with [illegible], who will broadcast some of their statements on the eve of the elections. And then both of them, and each separately, with their party and with Likud. And perhaps also an internal meeting in Likud.
They will sit there, on the ground, until they find a solution. Far from the comfortable and soporific conditions of Jerusalem. No other mediators are needed.
True, this will be a difficult negotiation, but not an impossible one.
And it is the only one that can put an end to our presence in Lebanon.
Send them to Naqoura.
